The ‘American Idol’ craze has definitely swept the nation. Millions of people tune in to this smash hit talent competition and cast their votes to determine who will be the next “AMERICAN...IDOL!” Actually, if we’re being honest, we have to admit that we often make decisions about who or what we choose to idolize, and it’s not just entertainers or athletes. It’s all too easy to make gods of things like sex, and money, and power...buying into their empty promises and temporary sense of fulfillment. But God tells us in the Bible that we are to have NO other gods (or idols) before Him. When we place these things on the throne, we lose sight of the fact that it is Jesus alone who is “the way, the truth, and the life.” SERVICE TIMES AND DESCRIPTIONS
